Every one is uses internet right? It is widely used in entire world. It can give many benefits to the people who used it, like it can communicate two people despite of the distances; it gives more information in things you would like to know by searching it in the net,it is very useful to everybody and many more.. But does every one know how this technology works? i think no.. even myself before doesn’t know how those things happen and works. Network Interface Card or NIC a piece of computer hardware that installed in a computer system which allows computer to communicate over a computer network. It allows user to connect to each other either by using cables or wirings.Hubs a device that interconnect the client and server repeating for amplifying signal between them. It also joins multiple computers together to form a single network segment. On this network segments all computers can directly communicate each other. We also talk about bridges which is similar to hubs it is a single port of switch. It is a device that connect network at physical layers. Switches, smarter than hubs and offer more bandwidths. It can support multiple conversation and move much traffic through the network. Routers a device that extracts the destination of a packet it receives select the best path to the destination and forward data packets to the next device along the path. It connect the LAn and Wan to access the internet. Bandwidth, it is a data carrying capacity in the computer connection used as indication of speed.We discuss also the Lan technologies like token ring a lan technologies which all computers are connected in a ring form and bit or token passing scheme in order to prevent the collision of data bet two computers that want to send message at the same time.
